Another year?

I may yet return to GAC for one more season jumping. It's quite addictive.

Oh yes I have a blog.

Looked at the link to my blog a lot more than I actually went ahead and updated it. A quick recap: the fire season was better this year, more fire jumps and more fire assignments. Now I'm back home in Chicago for the holidays  and I'll be heading down to NC for the winter/spring.

There and Back Again

Back to Idaho and another season of jumping. This year should give something more to write about.

Tennesee and still running...

I'll be in North Carolina tomorrow, maybe I can get over to the coast and make the journey a true beach to beach.

East of the Rio Grande

A short stay in New Mexico and then it's onward East back home before getting on to the job in North Carolina.

4600 Miles to go

So, I'm heading back to North Carolina for the winter, working for the TNC should be an interesting change of pace.

But before North Carolina is the whole continental US in a small pick-up truck. I'm heading west first, because there's a break in the rain and I like staring at the ocean on the Oregon coast. Then it's down south through California, with a stop at Meryll's ( I'm not sure it this is a good idea. ) and then on Las Vegas, Zion NP, and finish out the western US; Ruidoso NM.

After Ruidoso is the big hop back to Chicago land and between New Mexico and Illinois I have a problem. I have a week and some change to get to there, but it's not going to take more then 2 days to get back and I can't think of much that I want to do in between the two places.
